Privacy Policy

Who we are. This website, medicinewithheart.com, is operated by Living Love, LLC (DBA “Medicine with Heart”), a functional medicine clinic and health-education business in Lakewood, Colorado. Contact for privacy questions: service@medicinewithheart.com or (720) 722-1143.
What this website is — and isn’t. This website provides information about our clinic, educational content, and online courses. It is not a patient portal. We do not provide medical care, collect medical records, or schedule existing-patient appointments through this website. Scheduling for existing patients happens through our separate electronic health record system (Charm Health), which operates under its own privacy terms and, for patients, under our Notice of Privacy Practices provided in the course of care.
Information you give us.
- Discovery-call scheduling: if you book a free discovery call, our scheduling provider Calendly collects the information you enter (such as your name, email, and chosen time) to book the call. Calendly’s own privacy policy applies to its processing.
- Contact and sign-up forms: forms on this site (contact, program registration, email sign-ups) send your entries to us and to one or more of our email/customer-relationship platforms ActiveCampaign, SureContact, and GoHighLevel so we can respond and, if you opt in, send you newsletters or offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Purchases: our online checkout is operated with SureCart; historical purchases were processed through our previous store software. Payment card details are handled by the payment processor, not stored by us. Course purchases made through our education programs may be processed by ThriveCart on its own pages.
Text messages (SMS). If you opt in to receive text messages from us — for example, by checking a box on one of our forms or texting us a keyword — we will send you the kinds of messages you signed up for, such as appointment-call reminders or program updates, through our customer-communication platform. We only send texts to people who have explicitly opted in. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Phone numbers collected for text messaging are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes; they are used only to send you the messages you requested, through our service providers.
Information collected automatically.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager, and Rybbit analytics, to understand how visitors use our marketing and blog pages (pages visited, approximate location, device type).
- Advertising: we use the Meta (Facebook) pixel on our marketing and blog pages to measure advertising and reach people who may be interested in our content. We do not use advertising pixels on our scheduling, contact, or checkout pages. You can opt out of interest-based advertising through , , or the .
- Service tools: our site uses Cloudflare (security and content delivery), Sentry (error logging, configured to avoid collecting personal information), and Endorsal (displays client testimonials, shared with permission).
- Cookies: the tools above may set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
- Browser privacy signals: some browsers send “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals. This site does not currently respond to these signals; the opt-out links above remain available.
When we may disclose information. We may disclose personal information if required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, and it may be transferred as part of a business transaction such as a merger, sale of assets, or platform migration, under this policy’s protections.
What we don’t do.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use session-recording or keystroke-capture tools on this website.
- We do not share information you submit through our forms with advertising platforms.
Third-party sites. Links to our supplement dispensary (Fullscript), our practitioner-training site (mindbodyfunctionalmedicine.com), our scheduling and checkout providers, and social media lead to services with their own privacy policies.
Data security. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data retention and your choices. We keep form submissions and customer records as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, and you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting service@medicinewithheart.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children. This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes. We will post any updates here with a new effective date.
